Board of Directors Announce Executive Director Resignation

It is with a mix of sadness for her departure and gratitude for her service that the Board of Directors announces Kate Rogers’ resignation as Executive Director of the Fredericton Community Foundation, effective January 29, 2021. Throughout her role, Kate has been instrumental in many new initiatives, supporting our community organizations within the greater Fredericton region.

We want to thank Kate for the years she committed to guiding the Foundation’s mission, which involved many significant accomplishments, including: developing a fresh, streamlined, recognizable brand synonymous with the organization; guiding a strategic planning process, renewing our vision and mission, and identifying key areas of community focus; strengthening our relationship with the national body, keeping our organization current and exposing us to program opportunities that provided increased monies to local charities; and, through the pandemic, leading and positioning the Foundation to be resilient and adaptable, enhancing our support through our emergency response efforts.

We cannot thank Kate enough for the dedication, passion, and enthusiasm she has given our organization over the past few years. She will be greatly missed by the staff, Board, volunteers, and supporters alike. We look forward to following the success of her career and are excited for the future of the Fredericton Community Foundation as we carry on our important work to create a better community for today and tomorrow.
