Board Committees
We have a dedicated board of community members who represent the best interests of the community. This volunteer board assists in making effective decisions to meet the needs of the community.
In addition to the Board of Directors, community volunteers with expertise in specific areas serve on the various committees outlined below.
These committees serve to address specific areas of work the Foundation is engaged in and assist staff in key operational areas.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The Executive Committee acts for the Board as delegated and is responsible for developing the budget.
INVESTMENT & AUDIT COMMITTEE
The Investment & Audit Committee manages the financial aspects of the Foundation including budget, audit, and overall financial management which involves the Foundation’s investment portfolio.
GRANTMAKING COMMITTEE
The Grantmaking Committee accepts and reviews grant application from charitable organizations. The Committee makes recommendations for grants from the Community Fund, and presents these to the Board for approval.
HUMAN RESOURCES & Governance COMMITTEE
The Human Resources & Governance Committee is responsible for human resources policy, governance, and board succession planning.
PHILANTHROPY IN ACTION COMMITTEE
The Philanthropy in Action Committee manages the planning and organization of the Philanthropy in Action Celebration
Communications Advisory Group
The Communications Advisory Group is responsible for assisting in overseeing the Foundation's marketing and communications.
Donor Relations Advisory Group
The Donor Relations Advisory Group is responsible for assisting in the management of donor relations and fund development.
