Hey Creative Kids and Proud Parents,

The festive season is just around the corner, and our hearts are excited about the Holiday Card Contest! We're delighted to extend a warm invitation to all the talented elementary students in the greater Fredericton area, from kindergarteners to fifth graders, to join us in sharing their art and imagination with our community.

Calling All Little Helpers:

We have a special task for you, our young artists. Your mission is to draw a picture that shows how you celebrate the holidays with your loved ones. Let your creativity run wild, and your imagination take flight!

But before you dive into creating those fantastic holiday scenes, here are a few things to keep in mind:

Your Choice, Your Art: You can draw, paint, or even craft – it's all up to you.
Capture the Magic: Have a parent/guardian scan or photograph your masterpiece in high resolution before submitting it.
Submission Options: You can either email your magical creation to leddy@fredfdn.ca or drop it off at our office at 117 York St., Suite 102, Fredericton, NB E3B 3N6.

Contest Categories:

Tiny Artists: For our creative minds from kindergarten to 1st grade.
Imagination Explorers: Open to imaginative artists from 2nd to 3rd grade.
Junior Visionaries: The canvas is yours if you're in 4th or 5th grade.

Prizes to Make Your Heart Sing

Just for entering, every artist will be entered into a draw for the grand prize: H2O Snow Racer Pro Sled from Fredericton Home Hardware Building Centre, and your class might win a festive Pizza Party, courtesy of Pizza Pizza!

There are three prizes available, one for each contest category! Each prize is a gift package valued at $175, generously donated by our supporters:

How to Share Your Art via Email

Email your artwork to leddy@fredfdn.ca.
In the subject line, please type "[Your Name, Organization or School ] and Holiday Card Design Contest Entry."

A Little Extra Magic

On your email or the back of your drawing, make sure to share:

Your full name
Your age
Your address
Your phone number

IMPORTANT CONTEST Guidelines

Your artwork should be a unique creation, never before published.
By submitting your artwork, you provide consent to the Fredericton Community Foundation to use it for promotional purposes.
Parents/Guardians must consent to share the child’s artwork, first name, age, and community of residence to be entered.
