Scoring Goals - Brianna Spencer
Fredericton High School graduate, Brianna Spencer, is a skilled athlete who plays and coaches various sports, with a focus on soccer. Brianna is also the recipient of three scholarships from the Fredericton Community Foundation, totaling $2,250. She was recently awarded the Provincial Artisans Bursary, the Robert Morimanno Memorial Scholarship, and the Timmy Munn Memorial Scholarship.
“The scholarships have helped a lot, allowing me to pursue my dream of being a teacher while also playing the sport I love, soccer.” said Brianna Spencer. “These funds are a big help for not only me, but our whole family as well”
Brianna will be pursuing a career as an elementary school teacher. She is enrolled in the Early Childhood Care and Education Program at Holland College. While completing the two-year diploma program, she will also play women’s soccer for the Holland Hurricanes in the Atlantic Collegiate Athletic Association for the 2021-22 season.
